Visitor Center Tour Guide Assistant Volunteer/Maintenance/Groundskeeping:
As a Visitor Center Tour Guide Volunteer at Dworshak you can enjoy the summer in beautiful northern Idaho. The lake offers nearly 54 miles of fishing and boating opportunities.
Volunteer Duties: One couple is needed and the work is 25 to 30 hours. Your duties are between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and the volunteers usually work four on and four off that way you have time to explore Idaho, and the surrounding area. Your main job duties at Dworshak would include giving dam tours, answering phone calls, running the gift shopping and answering questions about the Dam and the area. Help rangers with special events or projects if needed. You must be able to walk at least two miles for Dam Tour. Volunteers do not perform skilled maintenance duties or perform janitorial services. If you are interested in learning more, please give Michelle B. East a call - or by email at michelle.b.east@usace.army.mil.
