About this Opportunity
Park Host Team Northbank Recreation Area/Recreation Fee Collection:
In need of a single park host team to work at Northbank Recreation Area. Hosts will be required to open and close the gates on work days, man the gatehouse and provide information and direct visitors to pay at the fee machine, no transaction handling is required. Additionally hosts will be required to make periodic rounds through the park to determine parking spaces left and address issues within the park. Hosts will have the support of rangers to handle sensitive or difficult issues. The schedule will be determined upon arrival, but will include each weekend Friday through Sunday and Holidays, but hosts will not be expected to work more than 20 hours as a team per week. Hosts will also be required to operate government vehicles for Honor Vault Collections around the Lake. Park hosts will be placed in the Volunteer Village with a full hook-up site. Hosts will be required to have their finger prints taken and complete the necessary paper and online federal background investigation forms per Army regulations.
