This posting is for park host positions available at either lake. An RV spot will be available for use to the volunteer at no cost with a minimum of 20 hours of service a week. Friday through Sunday are required days of work other days of the work may be needed as well depending on the park and situations that occur.  Position is outdoors.

Duties

  • Check the boat ramp daily for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
  • Check with gate attendant daily to see which campers are due to check out at 2:00 pm, have campers report to gate house that wish to stay longer and pay for the campsite at the gatehouse.
  • Maintain Restroom Cleanliness on all days opposing the cleaning Contractor
  • Check all grounds and pick up all trash/litter
  • Perform as needed: Perform minor RV electrical pedestal repairs, unclog toilets, repair facilities, dig up and repair water leaks, clean screen shelters/camp sites i.e. BBQ pits/fire rings and replace toilet paper as needed.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted, need to be mobile and able to walk long distances and stand for long hours.  Must have driver's license.
