Wonderful opportunity to assist passengers in need and make a big impression for our great City!

WHAT DO VOLUNTEEERS DO?

• Providing directions throughout the airport and information about airport amenities
• Assisting passengers with finding appropriate transportation and accommodations
• Providing suggestions to sightseeing attractions in the Houston and surrounding area
• Facilitating communication between airport tenants, airlines, and passengers
• Volunteers are staffing the airport information booths, on occasion volunteers may be assigned to roam in the baggage and security area.
• Relieve passengers stress and anxiety by providing a big southern hospitality greeting "WELCOME TO HOUSTON"

VOLUNTEER TRAINING INCLUDES:

• Volunteer will be trained by an ambassador mentor under the direct management of the volunteer program manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• Application, Background Check, and one time on sight orientation.
• Commitment of a minimal of 16 hours a month divided in four-hour shifts
• Commit to a minimum of 6 months

VOLUNTEER REWARDS:

• Wonderful opportunity to assist passengers in need
• Parking privileges during volunteer hours
• Two weeks complimentary parking after six months of service (Vacation parking)
• Annual recognition event
• Invitation to airport events and activities (tours, open houses, fieldtrips, etc.)
• Uniforms will be provided (polo shirt, sweater, jacket) must provide own black slacks/ skirt.
